The Shopify cart page doesn’t show a product description blurb by default. Below is how to add the description blurb to the cart page.
Display Product Description on Shopify Cart Page
Tested on “Dawn Theme”
<div class="cart-item__product__description">{{ item.product.description }}</div>
Add the code to the main-cart-items.liquid file.
